How the calculators handle your numbers
Every calculator on MathLab runs in your browser. When you type a salary into the GPA or Roth IRA tool, or paste a list of grades into the final-grade calculator, those numbers are processed locally and never transmitted to a server controlled by the publisher. We deliberately do not log calculator inputs, because the inputs to a mortgage or retirement calculator are sensitive even though they look like raw numbers.
What is collected automatically
Standard request metadata is collected by Cloudflare (our CDN/host) and Google Analytics 4 (our measurement layer). That metadata includes IP address, user agent, the page requested, the referrer, and timing statistics. GA4 stores a pseudonymous identifier so we can tell whether a visitor opened two calculators in one session — not who they are. We do not connect that identifier to any input you typed into a calculator.
Cookies and advertising
MathLab is supported by display advertising through Google AdSense. AdSense and its partners may set cookies on your device to render, frequency-cap, and measure ads, and to detect invalid traffic. Where required by law (EEA, UK, Switzerland, California), the consent banner gates personalization. Visitors can manage advertising personalization at any time through Google Ads Settings; declining personalization will still allow non-personalized ads to appear.
Third parties that receive a request from your browser
When you load a page on MathLab, your browser may also send requests to Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and Google Fonts (used to load the page typeface). Each of those services has its own privacy notice and is responsible for the data it receives.
Your rights
Residents of the EU, EEA, UK, and California may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of personal information processed about them, and may withdraw consent for analytics or advertising cookies at any time. Because the calculators do not transmit inputs to our servers, most such requests will route to Google as the recipient of the analytics or advertising data.
